§ 2-356. Fee.

  • Pursuant to the provisions of MCA 1972, §§ 25-58-3 and 25-61-7(2), the city shall impose a fee according to a standard fee schedule to be adopted by the mayor and board of aldermen by separate resolution. All such fees shall be reasonably related to the cost of creating, acquiring and maintaining the geographic information system, multipurpose cadastre or other electronically accessible data, for the data or information contained in such data or taken from such data, and for any records, papers, accounts, maps, photographs, films, cards, tapes, recordings or other materials, data or information relating thereto, whether in printed, digital or other format. In determining the fees or charges under this section, the mayor and board shall consider the type of information requested, the purpose for which the information has been requested and the commercial value of the information in the establishment of a standard fee schedule. The mayor or his designee is directed to review the fee schedule from time to time, and make recommendations to the board for revisions to such fee schedule.
